Find everything you need to hit the ground running with NumBots!

Click the link in the email we sent to set your password, then log in using your email address and password. Once you’ve done that you’ll be taken to the NumBots Dashboard, which will look quite empty for now…

Click Play, in the header bar, to try out the NumBots programme for yourself! (As a teacher you’ll find all the levels unlocked from the start, whereas children will work through them from the beginning, unlocking one level at a time.)

To add colleagues go to Account > Teachers. Click on the ‘Add Teacher’ button and fill in the requested information. They will receive an email with a link for them to set their password. If your colleagues already have TTRS accounts, they can log in using the same details.

Go to Account > Classes to add classes of pupils. Read more here. If your pupils already have TTRS accounts they can log in using the same details.

Download username labels containing each pupil’s log in details; print out and cut them up, ready to hand out to the individual pupils.

Install NumBots app on pupils’ devices (if they will be using tablets to play) or bookmark the NumBots web address on their computers, to save time logging in.

Did you know that your pupils can access NumBots at home on any device via the browser or app which is free to download? Encourage your class to play little and often, ideally 3 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Download bespoke parent/carer letters for each of your pupils to share their login details.

Pro Tip 1
Find out which pupils are underplaying, struggling to pass a level or nailing things in the ‘Stats’ section of your dashboard. NumBots’ teacher reports provide powerful formative analysis, in just 5 minutes per week, making planning and resourcing easy!

Pro Tip 3
There will be individual pupils for whom the time constraints required to pass a Story level are demonstrably too tough. In these cases, you can simply relax the time constraints.

Pro Tip 2
We think it’s best for all pupils to start at the very beginning of Story Mode – on Rust Level 1. This way, pupils reaffirm the foundations of maths, make connections between easier and more difficult questions, and are more motivated by the in-game rewards. However, if your pupils are already fluent at the early skills, you can let them skip the first topics in Story Mode.

Parents and pupils can access NumBots from their mobile devices while on the go! Simply click Google Play (Android), Apple (iOS), or Amazon to download the free app straight to a phone. Pupil progress is stored centrally, so whether they play on a phone at home, or a computer in school, their scores and achievements will always be up to date!

Your subscription will begin as soon as your trial ends, so access will be uninterrupted.
Yes, if you wish but it’s not mandatory. There’s space on the billing form for you to enter the PO number if you opt to pay by invoice.
No, as long as the school subscribes within 90 days of the trial expiring. If your trial expired over 90 days ago, pupil data will have been deleted so you will have to re-upload them.
Yes, each bolt-on has a daily price so you will simply get charged according to the number of days you have remaining on your subscription at the time. To find out how many days that is please login and go to:

Yes, of course. We have hundreds of schools around the world using our platform. Basic maths, after all, is important to every learner no matter where you live.
At the end of your trial, your access to NumBots will simply terminate and you will not be charged. All pupil data will automatically be deleted 90 days following expiry of your trial, if the school does not choose to subscribe during that period. Should you choose to subscribe within 90 days of your trial expiring, no data or pupil progress will be lost and you and your pupils can carry on accessing NumBots using the same login details.
