Follow these 3 easy steps to get you, your staff and your pupils ready to start on NumBots.

Click the link in the email we sent to set your password, then log in using your email address and password. Once you’ve done that you’ll be taken to the NumBots Dashboard, which will look quite empty for now…

Go to Account > Teachers. Click the ‘Add Teacher’ button and populate for each teacher. They will receive login details by a separate email. If your colleagues already have TTRS accounts, they can log in using the same details.

Go to Account > Classes and click the ‘Add Student’ button. You can upload pupils via spreadsheet or individually, one at a time. If your pupils already have TTRS accounts, they can log in using the same details.
Pupils can access NumBots via our mobile app which is free to download on all devices. This means they can play at home or at school!
Alternatively, bookmark play.numbots.com to play on a computer, using a web browser.

Before you launch NumBots with your class, make sure you:
1. Download username labels containing your pupil’s log in details; print out and cut them up, ready to hand out.
2. Download the NumBots app onto tablets, or bookmark play.numbots.com on computers or laptops.
3. Download bespoke parent/carer letters containing each pupil’s login details so they can continue playing at home.

Get the most out of NumBots for your class and adapt it to your pupils’ specific needs using these top tips.
Pro Tip 1
We recommend children play NumBots for 3 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
If your pupils use NumBots outside the classroom, you’ll want to know how much they are playing. Use Activity Goals to set the number of minutes you expect your pupils to play each week. Once set, your pupils will see how many minutes they have remaining each week and you can easily identify which pupils have met their targets.
Pro Tip 3
There will be individual pupils for whom the time constraints required to pass a Story level are demonstrably too tough. In these cases, you can simply relax the time constraints.

Pro Tip 2
We think it’s best for all pupils to start at the very beginning of Story Mode – on Rust Level 1. This way, pupils reaffirm the foundations of maths, make connections between easier and more difficult questions, and are more motivated by the in-game rewards. However, if your pupils are already fluent at the early skills, you can let them skip the first topics in Story Mode.

We know that some pupils may require adjustments to NumBots in order for them to get the most out of it.
There are a choice of different colour schemes, including high contrast colour settings, the option to have questions read aloud, and support for screenreaders.

You can pay by card or invoice for unlimited pupils and teachers across all year groups. Click the button above and follow the purchase steps to activate your subscription which will begin immediately following the expiry of your trial.
There is no limit to the number of pupils who can use NumBots during a trial or school subscription.
Yes – on the billing form you’ll have the choice between credit card and invoice.
Yes – on the purchase page, once you’ve selected your school, we will be able to calculate the pro-rated cost for NumBots for you.
No problem. Please aim to pay the invoice by the due date even if that’s after the trial has ended and the subscription has begun.
If you purchase a subscription before the end of your trial, the subscription will begin as soon as the trial ends, so access will be uninterrupted.
If you purchase a subscription after your trial, the subscription will begin immediately and access will resume. (Pupils’ data is deleted 90 days after an expired trial, so don’t wait too long to subscribe!)
Yes, if you wish but it’s not mandatory. There’s space on the billing form for you to enter the PO number if you opt to pay by invoice.
No, as long as the school subscribes within 90 days of the trial expiring. If your trial expired over 90 days ago, pupil data will have been deleted so you will have to re-upload them.
Yes, of course. We have hundreds of schools around the world using our platform. Basic maths, after all, is important to every learner no matter where you live.
At the end of your trial, your access to NumBots will simply terminate and you will not be charged. All pupil data will automatically be deleted 90 days following expiry of your trial, if the school does not choose to subscribe during that period. Should you choose to subscribe within 90 days of your trial expiring, no data or pupil progress will be lost and you and your pupils can carry on accessing NumBots using the same login details.
