What NumBots has to offer

So that children can solve more complex problems, NumBots’ intelligent practice methodology focuses on automatic recall of number facts as well as developing conceptual understanding.

Pupils choose their own Bot before launching into ‘Story’ and ‘Challenge’ modes, where our algorithm takes care of their learning.

For most effective practice we suggest playing for at least 3 minutes a day, 4 or 5 times a week - at home or at school.

As they progress, pupils collect achievement badges and unlock hundreds of new levels and challenges.

In the Story Mode they will also discover parts, helping RustyBot upgrade from Rust to Diamond - so he can shine inside and out.

During the registration process, our system will recognise if your school already uses TT Rock Stars, meaning that users can login with the same details.

Schools using TT Rock Stars will have their classes set up already.

Includes display packs, certificates, parent letters, training materials and lesson resources such as videos and powerpoints to support launching and ongoing impact.

Tables and charts enable teachers to keep track of progress and usage at a class and individual level. Whilst printable leaderboards and auto-populated certificates allow you to recognise and celebrate pupils’ achievements in school.

Our Expertise (Mastery)

At the start of a two-year process, the team made a commitment that NumBots would develop a robust understanding of mathematical concepts, strengthened by automatic recall of the basics – a true “teaching for mastery” approach.

We pulled together best practice from the NCETM, White Rose Maths, teacher influencers, educators in Shanghai and Singapore and from leading academics. We got forensic about every fact from 1+1 to 100+100. We drew on our collective experience in the classroom and of building the UK’s most successful times tables platform.

From that, we distilled the three essential elements now at the core of NumBots: sound pedagogy, memory-building routines and great gamification.

The result is a world-class app for learning addition and subtraction.

Designed for everyone!

NumBots subscriptions are currently only available to schools.
