So much more than just a practise game, NumBots is a comprehensive maths platform to teach your child, with motivation built in!
Allow NumBots to take care of your child’s learning and you’ll see their confidence and ability in maths soar.
We suggest most children begin their NumBots adventure between the ages of 5 – 7 years old. Find out why.
NumBots adopts the best teaching practises to take children from counting on their fingers, to adding and subtracting two digit numbers.
The programme compliments what your child is learning in school and focusses on securing any gaps in their knowledge, before moving them onto the next challenge. This self paced journey improves children’s confidence and means they are fully prepared to tackle each new topic.
We recommend playing for at least 3 minutes a day, 4 or 5 days a week. NumBots is available to play via our website or mobile app, so your child will be able to learn maths at home or on-the-go, whenever suits your family.
Children LOVE playing NumBots which means any difficulty getting them to practise maths will be long forgotten!

Please ask your child’s teacher for their username and password/pin. We apologise that we are unable to give out children’s log in details for data protection reasons.
NumBots starts right near the beginning of a child’s maths journey – with subitising* numbers up to 5. Over the course of the 1300+ levels that follow, children will learn about number bonds and, eventually, how to add and subtract two digit numbers. NumBots’ learning objectives reflect those for Years 1, 2 and 3 in the UK National Curriculum.
We expect most children will take at least 2 years to complete the entire programme, however that will depend on their maths ability when they start the programme (children with more experience may power through the first few stages before reaching a point where the levels begin to challenge them) and how regularly they play.
We therefore suggest that most children start using NumBots between the ages of 5 – 7 years old. Find out more
*Subitising: Instantly recognising how many objects there are in a group, without needing to count them.
